Holiday Window Painting

Oh Blogland. I owe all of you my sincere apologies yet again. Why does life have to rear its ugly head sometimes & take up all of your free time? My job has been crazy lately. Two people quit & that had us frazzled to say the least. With the store open 7 days a week & going from a staff of six down to four, chaos ensues. Then our manager ended up in the hospital on the 7th of November & is still not released to come back to work by her doctors. So four went down to three. We have been running around like crazy people, working tons of hours. When I come home after work I enter Zombie mode. I am there but not there if you know what I mean. We now have two new hires. One has started training but is catching on at a rather slow pace & the other starts training on Saturday. Fingers are crossed that they work out & some  free time will be once again become normal & not a thing of the past. I hope you all forgive me. My Broom is not even speaking to me right now. What a time it has been! I wanted to share with all of you the windows I painted for my job. These I painted with tempura paints. I had a blast doing these..........now onto the photos!

Here is my snowman with some snow covered pine trees. Yes, he is smoking a cigar.......I work at a Tobacco Store my pretties.

Next up is my penguin. Ain't he cute? He is accented with some holly berries & leaves.

Here are some holly berries & leaves I did on the door.

Next up is my Santa. I adore this guy. You gotta love his wonky eyes!

Last is a candy cane with the name of the store. These were all done free hand. No stencils were involved. I am scheduled to do the windows at the nursing home my husband works at on my next couple hours off from my job.
December is normally a super crazy month what with all the shopping one has to do. I am looking to clone myself. Anyone have any idea how to do that? There are so many projects I am itching to do for the Holiday.  Hope all of you out there in Blogland had an awesome Turkey Day.
I so miss you all.

Ghosts Orbs At Nemacolin Castle

Hey Blogland! I have been so eager to share with all of you the photos I took at Nemacolin Castle here in PA.
Nemacolin is in Brownsville a mere 20 minute drive for me. I will most assuredly be going back to this wickedly haunted place! My grandson Ryan went with me. Ryan is a budding Ghost Hunter & he had tons of fun. We couldn't really tell if we captured anything on film until I got home & uploaded the photos to the computer. We got quite a bit of stuff & I am uber excited to show them to you all!

The first orb I caught was on the first photo I took while in the castle. I really wish you could all see these photos bigger than what the blog allows. I was having a hard time breathing in this room & later found out that those who are sensitive to "other things around them" have the same experience! Wickedly Cool! (okay, well not too cool when I could not breath but you get where I am coming from)

This photo was taken in an upstairs hallway.  This orb is one of a few that appear to have faces in them..........goose bump time!

This photo shows a small orb on a staircase that is reported to be haunted by a young boy who cries on the stairs. Poor kid. I wonder what he is crying about. It makes me sad to know of a child spirit that is unhappy.

Taken in a smaller third floor bedroom there appears to be a mass of some sort trying to manifest itself.  I wish I could have stayed longer in that room but the tour was moving pretty fast.

This photo is one of my "prize shots". Three orbs in one shot! When larger you can see a face in the one with the star next to it. It is really clear too! Uber exciting!

Chills down your spine time! Check out the orb over the man's face. Everyone I have shown this to gets the chills looking at it. Wickedly awesome if you ask me.

I know you are thinking "Oh Beth, that is the moon outside the window!" No. That night the moon was a thin cresent shape.

Outside after the tour I took quite a few more photos of the outside of Nemacolin Castle. Two orbs in this shot with the upper one also having a face in it.

I have more shots with orbs but they are not able to be seen when in blogger format.

Here is my Ghost Hunting grandson, Ryan. He was talking with me about his experiences in the house. He also cannot wait to go back. I entered in a drawing to spend the night at the castle with a guest. Of course the guest would have been my grandson! Since I have not heard anything to date I am guessing that not one of my 20 tickets was drawn........bummer.  We would have been able to stay overnight with some local Ghost Hunters & get to use their equipment.  Oh well, I will be looking into being able to hang out with some Ghost Hunters in the area so Ryan & I can go on the hunt once again!

Wickedly Crafty Saturdays (11/05/11)

I am bowing down to all of you in Blogland. Once again I am late with Wickedly Crafty Saturdays. Unfortunately things happen beyond our control. To make a very long story short, we have a creepy neighbor who does really dumb stuff when he is drunk. (this happens to be most of the time) The other night he stole the tag off of my car. The police know it is him, as we do, but there is no way to prove it. Life has been chaotic to say the least. Okay apology made....onto the fun. Cause the Powers That Be know I sure need some!

Favorites from last week:
These adorable shrunken heads from MJ over at My Busy Craft Life
 Aren't they just the cutest????

These wickedly awesome Spooky Gifts from Patty at On Hollyhock Farm

Halloween Parade with Laurel Grove Wiccan Circle

Hi Blogland! I wanted to share with you some wickedly awesome fun your favorite Witch had the other night. I was invited by the wonderful witchy folk of the Laurel Grove Wiccan Circle to walk with them in Uniontown's Halloween parade. This Witch had oodles of fun hanging out with the Laurel Grove group.

Charles & Kathryn are some of the nicest people you ever wanna meet. I was so happy they invited me to participate.

Here is yours truly & Charles hamming it up.

I do not remember everyone's names but hope to become better acquainted with them. (I am so horrible with names most times that I call all three of my children "Hey You" or "Whats your face")

Look closely, she is holding a snake! He was so sweet & lovable.

I am serious, he really was!  Although it was fun to see peoples reactions along the route & while waiting to start when they realized that it was a real live snake!
(gotta have fun with it.....right?)

The banner we walked behind.

The school band behind us while waiting for the parade to start was practicing The Addams Family theme song. We really enjoyed that!

Wickedly cool decorated yard next to where we lined up.

I had to stop & snap a shot of this house along the parade route (left side)

(right side)

It was dark when the parade was over. Resting a bit to begin the walk back home & to cars.  The Laurel Wiccan Grove group has invited me to join in on their Samhain ritual this year also. Fingers are crossed that my work schedule allows me to attend!

Thanks again to Kathryn Goodwin Jones, Charles Bittner & the rest of the Coven for making me feel welcome in my new home town.

Laurel Grove Wiccan Circle.......you rock!

Blessed Be & a Wickedly Awesome Samhain to all!
