Howdy Hi Blogland! Yes, tis I, your wayward Witch. Sorry for the delay in getting back to Blogland but I was held hostage by the outside world for a while. Busy, busy, busy. Wow... can life smack you in the face sometimes. Anyway, I will explain all of that in another post. For now we are discussing Peanut Butter Mousse. I wanted to do something with the chocolate cups I made:
Since my Pumpkin Mousse was so easy to make, I decided to try it with Peanut Butter. So here is what I did.
I used one jar of Peanut Butter, 3 tblsps. vanilla & one package of instant vanilla pudding. I mixed those up really good.
Then I added two tubs of Cool Whip & blended until ...well...blended.
Just feast your eyes on all that Peanut Butter creaminess!
Then I searched high & low for the decorating tips my husband stored in a safe place. To all of you who have followed my blog you know that means that I did not find my decorating tips. So I had to rough it. I sniped off the end of a large freezer bag & used that to fill with the mousse to fill the chocolate bowls.
I also picked up a Wilton doodad maker for decorations:
While these are cute, they are also a pain in the you know what cause filling the thinner molds is a #*@%# & when they have hardened...they break popping out of the molds. Some of the thinner ones stayed in place but most did not. So, I made a lot of the leaves cause they were stable when popped out.
I filled my chocolate bowls & added the decorations.
No...that is not how I served them. The lovely foil pan was for storage in the fridge. These guys I must admit turned out so tasty that my boss wanted the Mousse recipe to make a Peanut Butter Pie filling to make & serve at the restaurant. He could not believe how easy the recipe was. You should try this yourself & amaze your friends, boss & family!
And to all of my newer followers....Welcome & not to fear, I will be making the rounds & will be following your blogs & such (as long as you have one) Thanks for being so great!
Don't forget to leave a comment. I love hearing from cool folks like yourself.
